Blue Days

Some days you feel blue
and some days are blue.
While others are grey and dreary.

Others jet black, midnight, liquorice
With no way out — just through.
Others are sea green,
And crystal clear
Fizz softly
On sandy beaches.

Others dribble bright white
Like melting ice cream
For seconds, minutes, hours.

Some begin grey but with sunsets
so Pink
They let you know
That there are better days
To come.
